Messaging & Campaigns
WhatsApp Campaigns
WhatsApp Campaigns combines a configured WhatsApp channel, an owned audience, campaign content, and delivery timing. You can prepare and execute supported campaign workflows conversationally with ForsaBrain or manage campaigns directly in Marketing Bot.
What you need
- A configured WhatsApp channel that belongs to your account.
- A WhatsApp audience or contact list containing at least one valid recipient.
- The message or campaign content you want to send.
- A delivery choice: send now, schedule for later, or save as a draft.
Use WhatsApp Campaigns with ForsaBrain
- Open ForsaBrain and ask it to create a WhatsApp campaign.
- Choose or provide the configured WhatsApp channel.
- Select the audience or provide the recipient information required by the workflow.
- Write or describe the campaign message.
- Tell ForsaBrain whether the campaign should run now, be scheduled, or be saved as a draft.
- Review the generated campaign plan and the collected inputs.
- Approve the external send action when confirmation is requested.
- Follow the campaign result and status from the ForsaBrain workflow.
Use the original WhatsApp Campaigns tool
- Open WhatsApp Campaigns in Marketing Bot.
- Create a new campaign.
- Select the configured WhatsApp channel.
- Choose the required contact list, audience, or segment.
- Enter the campaign message and available campaign settings.
- Choose immediate delivery, a future schedule, or draft mode.
- Review the campaign before sending or saving it.
- Open existing campaigns later to review their state and available analytics.
Example ForsaBrain prompts
Create a WhatsApp campaign for this audience and send it now.
Prepare this WhatsApp promotion and schedule it for tomorrow at 10 AM.
Create the WhatsApp campaign but save it as a draft until I approve the final message.
Expected output
- A saved WhatsApp campaign record.
- Immediate delivery, scheduled delivery, or draft state according to the selected timing.
- Campaign information that can be opened and managed after creation.
Troubleshooting
- If no WhatsApp channel is available, complete the Marketing Bot WhatsApp connection setup first.
- If the campaign cannot be created, verify that the selected channel belongs to your account and is configured.
- If the audience is rejected, choose an owned audience containing at least one valid recipient.
- If scheduling is selected, provide a valid future date and time.
How this tool works with ForsaBrain modes
- Plan Mode: use this when you want ForsaBrain to collect the required inputs for the registered WhatsApp Campaigns workflow, show the prepared execution plan, request confirmation when required, and run the supported adapter.
- Registered workflow ID: marketing.whatsapp_campaign.
- Chat Mode: use it when you want help preparing content, understanding requirements, or discussing the workflow without assuming the external action will be executed.
- Agent Mode: this is a separate ForsaBrain mode. Do not treat it as another name for WhatsApp Campaigns. For the native workflow documented on this page, use the registered-tool / Plan workflow.
- Deep Research: use the dedicated research mode for research work rather than as a replacement for this tool's native execution workflow.
Connect WhatsApp before running a campaign
- ForsaBrain requires a configured WhatsApp channel before the campaign can be created.
- For a Twilio-backed WhatsApp channel, the supported configuration uses the Twilio Account SID, Twilio Auth Token, and WhatsApp phone number.
- For a Meta WhatsApp channel, the supported configuration uses Phone Number ID, WhatsApp Business Account ID, access token, and verify token.
- After connecting the channel, create or select the owned contact list or audience used by the campaign.
- If ForsaBrain reports that no WhatsApp channel is available, complete the channel connection before returning to the campaign plan.
