Social Media Agent
Social Media Agent uses saved brand knowledge, connected social accounts, content rules, and posting cadence to prepare and manage social posts. ForsaBrain can create the agent workflow while the original workspace provides dedicated agent, account, post, calendar, brand, and analytics views.
What you need
- A saved brand that belongs to your account.
- Brand information such as a name, website, or description.
- At least one connected social account for workflows that publish content.
- Audience, tone, content direction, and posting cadence.
Use Social Media Agent with ForsaBrain
- Open ForsaBrain and ask it to create a social media agent.
- Select or create the brand the agent should use.
- Choose the connected social account required for publishing.
- Provide the audience, tone, content direction, and desired cadence.
- Review the generated social-agent workflow.
- Start the agent after the required resources are valid.
- Review the initial generated content or allow the native scheduler to generate posts according to the selected cadence.
- Track generated posts and publishing state from ForsaBrain or the original Social Media Agent workspace.
Use the original Social Media Agent tool
- Open Social Media Agent.
- Prepare or select the brand profile.
- Connect and manage the social accounts used for publishing.
- Create the agent and configure its brand, audience, tone, and cadence.
- Generate or review posts associated with the agent.
- Save, schedule, or publish supported social posts.
- Use the calendar, posts, agents, brands, accounts, and analytics views to manage ongoing activity.
Example ForsaBrain prompts
Create a social media agent for this brand and publish three times per week.
Build a social agent for my connected Instagram account using this brand tone.
Create the agent and prepare the first post for review before publishing.
Expected output
- A saved Social Media Agent.
- A brand and connected publishing account associated with the workflow.
- Generated social content and post records.
- Draft, scheduled, or published post states depending on the selected workflow.
- Native cadence scheduling when configured for the agent.
Troubleshooting
- If the agent cannot be created, confirm that Social Media Agent is installed and its required database tables are current.
- If no publishing account can be selected, connect a social account first.
- If the selected brand is unavailable, choose a saved brand that belongs to your account.
- If publishing fails after a post is saved, review the connected account and the post status before retrying.
How this tool works with ForsaBrain modes
- Plan Mode: use this when you want ForsaBrain to collect the required inputs for the registered Social Media Agent workflow, show the prepared execution plan, request confirmation when required, and run the supported adapter.
- Registered workflow ID: social.agent.
- Chat Mode: use it when you want help preparing content, understanding requirements, or discussing the workflow without assuming the external action will be executed.
- Agent Mode: this is a separate ForsaBrain mode. Do not treat it as another name for Social Media Agent. For the native workflow documented on this page, use the registered-tool / Plan workflow.
- Deep Research: use the dedicated research mode for research work rather than as a replacement for this tool's native execution workflow.
Connect social accounts
- Publishing workflows require at least one connected social account.
- The current ForsaBrain connection workflow exposes Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and YouTube connection choices when the corresponding integration is available.
- Select only accounts owned by or available to the current ForsaAI user.
- After the account is connected, select it when ForsaBrain asks which platforms the Social Media Agent should use.
